Vitrum's HRM strategy
Vitrum considers HRM strategy to be a verb. Taking this vision into account, Vitrum has developed a HRM Strategy Work Approach, which sets a strategy process in motion within organisations. Those involved with the HRM strategy are given the opportunity to have input into the plans.
Vitrum speaks to people who are relevant to the HRM strategy and analyses documents, the business strategy and HRM plans from the past. Next, Vitrum introduces a number of its own ideas and draws up an initial plan of the HRM strategy in the form of a sheet presentation. Based on this "strategy comic", co-ordination talks are held and the HRM vision is further elaborated and expanded. Consequently, the management team lends its support to the strategy and HRM consultants come into contact with management.
Based on these feedback sessions and the sheet presentation, Vitrum draws up a HRM strategy document and an extensive action plan. The HRM strategy is put before the decision-makers for their approval and is allocated a budget. Vitrum then also helps with the plan's implementation. Finally, Vitrum documents the strategy process and hands it over to the organisation.
In this way, Vitrum has assisted various large, international (stock-exchange listed) organisations in the past with forming HRM strategy. Constituent HRM plans were also developed, such as: career policy, recruitment and selection policy, organisational development policy, training policy, management development policy and competency management.
Following on from these plans, Vitrum also develops separate HRM tools such as assessment systems and competency frameworks.
